About

Who is Stephen Hartman? Illustrator, storyteller, coffee enthusiast, cartoon lover are all good answers but I would probably say Stephen Hartman is, well, me! Growing up much of the art I saw usually portrayed deep and depressing life issues. Don’t get me wrong, the art was wonderfully illustrated, but I’ve always felt life is sad and difficult enough so why add to it. That’s why as an individual I have always sought out ways to make people laugh or at least smile with my art. After people have seen my illustrations I want them leaving in better spirits than before. I am currently working toward being a full-time illustrator as well as trying to create and produce story ideas of my own. I’m always ready for a new challenge and to grow as an artist.

If you’re interested in using my talents, please contact me through this website or by my e-mail, hartmanartssl@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you and I’m excited for a chance to work with you in the near future.
